On March 15 and 16, 2018, the steering group of the European lighthouse project TransformingTransport met at paluno in Essen. The project members presented their results from the individual subprojects and coordinated the next steps. Scientists from the research group of Prof. Dr. Klaus Pohl presented a prototype of the productivity cockpit they are developing together with the Port of Duisburg. The real-time data provided by the productivity cockpit makes it easier to monitor and control the processes in the terminal.

Read more about the productivity cockpit in the press release Big Data will further optimize the handling of goods in the Port of Duisburg.
