The European Technology Platform NESSI (The Networked European Software and Services Initiative) wants to establish a coordinated European strategy for ICT, to foster research investments. NESSI addresses the areas Cloud Computing, Software, Services, Big Data and Cyber-Physical Systems.
NESSI has over 450 members. Each member organization can be represented by one or more individuals. The 23 NESSI partners from industry and academia include i.e. Atos, Orange, IBM, Intel, Nokia, SAP, Siemens, Software AG and Thales. paluno represents the University of Duisburg-Essen as academic partner in NESSI. Prof. Dr. Klaus Pohl is member of the NESSI-Board, Dr. Andreas Metzger is steering committee vice chair of the European Technology Platform NESSI.
