Zur Person

Thorsten Weyer leitet die Forschungsgruppe 'Requirements Engineering und konzeptioneller Entwurf'. Seit mehr als zehn Jahren arbeitet er mit nationalen und internationalen Forschungseinrichtungen und Unternehmen aus den Branchen Luft- und Raumfahrtechnik, Fahrzeugbau, Medizintechnik, Transport- und Logistik sowie Industrieautomatisierung zusammen. Hierbei hatte bzw. hat er Leitungspositionen in verschiedenen Forschungs- und Technologietransferprojekten inne. Er ist (Co-)Autor von mehr als 75 Veröffentlichungen auf den Gebieten Requirements Engineering und modellbasierte Softwareentwicklung für eingebettete, cyber-physische und vertrauenswürdige Systeme. Darüber hinaus verfasste er wesentliche Beiträge zu bekannten Lehrbüchern auf dem Gebiet Requirements Engineering. Er war Vorsitzender von Programmkomitees sowie Mitglied von Organisations- und Programmkomitees zahlreicher wissenschaftlicher Tagungen und ist als (Gast-)Herausgeber und Gutachter für Fachzeitschriften tätig. Thorsten Weyer ist ordentliches Mitglied des International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB) und Mitglied des IREB Beirates.
